We offer a workshop to better prepare bachelors and masters students who are employed as student assistants or tutors to support the exercise sessions. Participation will be recognised with an attestation. This workshop is offered exclusively in French. *** Please note that registration opens 5 weeks before the scheduled date.
Formation pour assistant-e-s étudiant-e-s (en français) Cet atelier est construit autour de sessions interactives pour vous fournir les outils permettant de mieux gérer les interactions avec les étudiant-e-s :
  • Poser de bonnes questions pour enseigner sans donner les réponses
  • Aider les étudiant-e-s à améliorer leur façon de résoudre les problèmes
  • Donner un feedback utile aux étudiant-e-s
  • Connaître les règles qui s’appliquent à votre rôle en tant qu’assistant-e ou tuteur

The ‘How People Learn’ master’s course

“How People Learn” is a course in the social and behavioural sciences of learning. It is offered within the Social and Human Sciences (SHS) strand of the master’s program. In the autumn semester students study the social and psychological factors which impact upon human learning as well as the methods which are used to conduct research in the field (3 credits). In the spring semester students complete a research project in learning sciences (3 credits).
